The Paternity Test is a DNA test aimed at identifying paternity and/or the degree of kinship on a purely informative level.
DNA analysis for paternity testing is based on the detection of normal variations that are present at the level of many regions of the genetic material of each individual (polymorphism). For each individual, the simultaneous determination of these variations allows to derive a genetic profile. With the exception of monozygotic twins who are exactly alike, each individual’s genetic profile is practically unique, like fingerprints.
This characteristic underlies the methodology used to determine whether two people are genetically related.
The genetic profile of a child will consist of half the maternal genetic profile and half the paternal genetic profile.
Therefore, the presumed father to be considered biological father must possess half of the genetic profile present in the child.
For informational use.

Paternity is EXCLUDED in the event that the genetic characteristics of the putative father disagree with those of the child being investigated. On the other hand, paternity is ATTRIBUTEDÂ if the genetic characteristics of the father and the son agree.
To all those who want to know with certainty the parental relationship with a particular individual.
All genetic tests include a video consultation with our geneticists for the interpretation of the results. The video consultation can be booked in the personal area.
It is important to remember that genetic tests have no contraindications.
The results remaincostantfor which it is not necessary to repeat them in the course of life, they are not influenced by habits or by drugs taken, and they do not require any preparation for the execution of the exam.
